The design of cuttle purse is inspired by the characteristic of cuttlefish. Cuttlefish is a marine animal like a squid, this invertebrate floats elegantly in the deep ocean and it is able to camouflage to blend in the environment which allows them to be one of the best predictor in the sea. However, the bone of cuttlefish is so different from its look, it is made of aragonite which is brittle and very easy to break. With reference to my impression to cuttlefish which is flexible yet strong, I designed this cuttle purse.The purse is designed in geometric shape, which makes a contrast from cuttle fish’s organic shape. The outlook of the purse of strong and sharp yet it is easy to collapse. The material I used is formed in flexible triangles, which allows the purse to transform in multiple shapes. The clutch is designed for woman in casual use, basic accessories can be fitted inside.
